What is reflow oven?
Reflow soldering machine is to melt the solder paste pre-coated on the solder pad by heating to realize the electrical interconnection between the pins or welding ends of electronic components pre-mounted on the solder pad and the solder pad on the PCB, so as to achieve the purpose of welding electronic components on the PCB board. SMT welding machine is based on the role of hot gas flow on the solder joint, gelatinous flux under a certain high temperature airflow physical reaction to achieve SMD welding; So called “reflow oven”, because the gas in the soldering machine circulation flow to produce high temperature to welding. Reflow oven is generally divided into preheating zone, heating zone and cooling zone.
What is wave soldering machine?
Melt the soft solder (lead tin alloy), through the electric pump or electromagnetic pump jet flow into the design requirements of the solder wave, so that the printed board pre-equipped with components through the solder wave, to achieve the mechanical and electrical connection between the parts of the welding end or pins and printed board welding pad soft brazing. Wave soldering machine is mainly composed of transport belt, flux adding zone, preheating zone and wave tin furnace, its main material is solder bar.
What’s the difference between reflow and wave soldering?
1. Wave soldering is a molten solder to form a solder wave to weld components; Reflow oven is the soldering of components by hot air forming reflow melting solder.
2. The process is different: spray starch wave soldering flux, again after preheating, welding, cooling zone, reflow soldering, former have solder on the PCB furnace, after welding is the coating of solder paste melting welding, wave soldering, the former did not solder on the PCB furnace, welding machine of the solder wave solder coating finish welding to welding welding plate.
3. Reflow oven is suitable for SMT electronic components, wave soldering is suitable for pin electronic components.
