What kinds of components can be processed by the SMT machine

As we all know, the SMT machine can be used to mount a lot of kinds of components, so we generally call it multifunctional SMT machine, we use the SMT process a lot of people have questions, what kind of components can it be mounted? Next, we will explain the four kinds of components of the common mount PNP machine:

1. resistor: we can usually use a pick and place machine to mount the resistor on the surface of the element. Usually, we can express the current size of the resistance in millimeters or inches. There are four numbers on the resistor. The first two represent the length of the resistance, and the last two represent the width of the resistance. When we reinstall it, as long as it is within the range of installation error, it can be considered as a qualified installation resistance element and its use will not be affected.
2. Capacitor: there are many kinds of capacitors, ceramic capacitors and electrolytic capacitors are commonly used. Capacitors have four main parameters, capacitance, size, error and coefficient. Capacitors can also be installed on the components by means of a mount machine. In general, the capacitance value of a capacitor can be displayed in three digits on the element, but for ceramic capacitors, this step can be omitted. We can distinguish different capacitors according to the color, size and model of the capacitor installed.
3. Inductance: Inductance is similar in shape to capacitance, but darker in color than capacitance. Before installation, we can use a detector to distinguish the inductance and the size of the inductance, and then determine whether the current installed inductance is the same as the inductance, and finally the chip will be processed by the patch.
4. Diode: diode is also widely used in the SMT industry. Glass and plastic-sealed diodes are common types of installations and have many applications in everyday life, such as LEDs used in mobile phones. Diodes of different materials can emit light of different colors. Efficient placement with a chip mounter machine is a shortcut to mass production.
