BGA soldering station introduction
BGA soldering station is also generally called BGA rework station, which is a special equipment applied to BGA chips with soldering problems or when new BGA chips need to be replaced. Since the temperature requirement of BGA chip welding is relatively high, so the general heating tool can not meet its needs.
BGA soldering table is working with the standard reflow oven curve, so it is very effective to do BGA rework, and the success rate can reach more than 98% if done with a better BGA soldering table.
Classification of BGA rework table
1. Manual model
When BGA is placed on PCB, it relies on the operator’s experience to paste it according to the screen printing frame on PCB, which is suitable for BGA chip reworking with larger BGA solder ball pitch (above 0.6). Except the temperature curve when heating is automatically run through, all other operations need manual operation.
2. Semi-automatic model
BGA tin ball pitch is too small (0.15-0.6) BGA chips manually going to the patch will have errors and easily cause bad welding. Optical alignment principle is to use the spectroscopic prism imaging system to magnify the BGA solder joints and PCB pads, so that their magnified images overlap after vertical patching, which will avoid the errors that occur in the patching. The heating system will run automatically after the patching is completed, and there will be a buzzer alarm prompt after the welding is finished.
3. Automatic model
As the name implies, this model is a fully automatic rework system, which is based on machine vision alignment of this high-tech technical means to achieve fully automatic rework process.
