Placing and positioning of manual solder printer

In SMT production line, printing is to slip the solder paste onto the corresponding pads on the PCB to prepare for the next patch. Manual solder printer refers to the process of manually printing solder paste using a manual printing machine.
The operation process of manual solder printer mainly includes plate laying, positioning, printing, plate taking and cleaning steel mesh.

1. Fixed steel mesh
   Use the fixing device to fix the steel mesh on the printing machine. After fixing, ensure that the steel mesh and PCB are in flat contact. No uneven or one-sided contact can occur, otherwise it is easy to cause the collapse of the solder paste printing point, affecting the printing quality and the service life of the steel mesh.
2. The location of PCB
   Manual printing, PCB generally adopts the plate edge positioning, that is, positioning according to the position of the positioning hole on the board. After positioning, the mesh of the steel mesh must be accurately aligned with the corresponding pads of the PCB. In order to have a good solder joint appearance, it is generally required that the solder paste and the solder pad dislocation degree is less than 10%.

 Hand printed 4 steps

1. The printing process mainly has the following four steps.
   (1) the temperature and mixing good solder paste leveled and glued on the steel net, solder paste do not take too much, with the printing with the addition.
2.  The PCB to be printed should be placed in the correct direction on the printing table, put down the steel mesh, and check whether the mesh is correctly aligned with the PCB solder pad.
3. Scrape the solder paste with a scraper to make the solder paste on the steel net roll and print from top to bottom along the direction of the PCB.
4.  Remove the printed PCB from the printing table. Check whether there is leakage, more tin, less tin, even printing phenomenon. If unqualified, wash off the solder paste with the washing board and reprint it after the board dries
