 1.Formulate methods to reduce or avoid misoperation of SMT machine

During the installation process, many errors and shortcomings are incorrect components and incorrect directions. To this end, the following measures have been formulated.

• After programming the feeder, a special person shall be designated to check whether the component value at each position of the feeder frame is the same as the component value of corresponding feeder number in the programming table. If it is not common, it must be corrected.
• For belt feeder, a special person is required to check if the new pallet value is correct before loading.
• After the chip is programmed in the mount machine, it needs to be modified once to check whether the component number, rotation Angle of mount head and mount direction in each mount process are correct.
• After the installation of the first PCB in each batch, someone must inspect it. If problems are found, they should be corrected in time through revision procedures.
• Always check whether the direction of placement is correct during placement; The number of missing parts, etc. Timely find out the problem, find out the cause, troubleshooting.
• Establish pre-welding inspection station (manual or SMT AOI machine)

 2.The requirements of the SMT operator

1. Operators should receive certain SMT professional knowledge and skills training.
2. Strictly follow the machine operation rules. The equipment is not allowed to operate with disease. When fault is found, stop the machine in time, and report to the technician or equipment maintenance personnel, clean it before use.
3. Operators are required to concentrate on eyes, ears and hands during operation.

Check whether the machine is abnormal during operation. For example, tape reels don’t work, plastic strips break, and indexes are placed incorrectly. During the operation, the machine is often monitored for abnormal sounds. Placement heads, falling parts, launchers, scissors, etc. Manually find the exception and deal with it in time. The operator can deal with minor defects such as attaching plastic strips, reassembling feeders, correcting installation orientation and typing indexes. The machines and circuits are defective and have to be repaired by a repairman.

 3.Strengthen the daily protection of the mount machine

SMT is a kind of disorganized high-tech high-precision machine, which needs to work in stable temperature, humidity and clean environment. In strict accordance with the requirements of equipment regulations, adhere to the daily, weekly, monthly, semiannual, annual protective measures.
