When purchasing a chip mounter, buyers typically focus on how much capacity the equipment has? What is the accuracy?
The amount of the capacity determines whether the buyer buys a medium-speed machine, a high-speed machine or a high-end modular mounter.
Accuracy reflects the more comprehensive functions of the mounter, and also the buyer’s more professional response to the requirements. what is the accuracy of XY-axis movement, and what is the accuracy of Z-axis movement? What is the resolution? Do you really understand and know what mounter precision means?
There are two definitions of chip mounter accuracy:
Placement accuracy and repeatability.
Another name for placement accuracy is absolute accuracy. Originally, placement accuracy refers to the mechanical accuracy of the mounter’s X- and Y-axis navigational movements and the Z-axis rotational accuracy. It can be characterized by positioning accuracy (absolute accuracy), repeatability and resolution.
1. Positioning accuracy
Positioning accuracy refers to the deviation between the actual position of the components to be mounted and the position of the components set in the mounting file. 2. Repeat accuracy
