SMT pick and place machine is known as surface mounting machine. In the production line, smt assembly machine is arranged after the dispensing machine or stencil printing machine. It is a kind of equipment that accurately places the surface mounting components on the PCB solder pad by moving the mounting head.
Working principle of PNP machine:
SMD pick and place machine is actually a kind of sophisticated industrial robot, is mechanical-electric-optical and computer control technology complex. It can quickly and accurately attach SMC/SMD components to the designated position of solder pad of PCB board without damaging the components and printed circuit board by absorbing – displacement – positioning – placing and other functions. The alignment of components has mechanical alignment, laser alignment, visual alignment of 3 ways. LED SMT machine consists of frame, x-y motion mechanism (ball screw, linear guide, drive motor), components, head feeder, PCB bearing mechanism, components of the detection device, the computer control system, movement of the machine is mainly composed of x-y motion mechanism, through the ball screw transmission power, by the linear rolling guide vice of directional movement, this form of transmission is not only its own motion resistance of small, compact structure, and higher motion precision effectively guarantee the mount position precision of the various components.
The mount machine is marked on important parts such as mount spindle, dynamic/static lens, suction nozzle seat and feeder. Machine vision can automatically calculate the coordinates of the MARK center system, establish the transformation relationship between the coordinate system of the mount machine system, PCB and mount component coordinate system, and calculate the precise coordinates of the mount machine movement. The mounting head of the mounting machine grasps the suction nozzle and the absorbing component at the corresponding position according to the packaging type and component number of the imported mounting component. The static lens detects, identifies and allocates the absorbing element according to the visual processing program. After the alignment is complete, the mount head attaches the component to the predetermined position on the PCB. This series of actions of component identification, alignment, detection and installation are completed automatically by the command control system after the industrial computer acquires the relevant data according to the corresponding instructions.
Placement machine is the main equipment in SMT production line, has been developed from early low-speed mechanical placement machine for high-speed optical for SMT machine, to muti function, flexible connection and modular development.
